Faith Learning A Brighter Tomorrow

All programs

On the move

Toddlers

Toddlers are busy discovering what they can do. Supportive routines and hands-on play give them ways to explore while learning to communicate their needs.

How children grow here

Four areas of growth

Thinking & discovery

Sort objects, try simple puzzles, and discover how things fit together.

Social & emotional growth

Name feelings, practice short turns, and build confidence with a caring adult nearby.

Physical development

Build coordination through movement, stacking, scribbling, and simple self-help tasks.

Language & communication

Expand vocabulary through picture books, songs, naming objects, and everyday conversation.

A simple discovery: building a tower invites a toddler to compare sizes, try again, and ask for another block.

A closer look at this program

Big feelings, new words, and “I can do it!”

Toddlers learn with their whole bodies. They carry, build, point, imitate, and repeat. With patient guidance, everyday play becomes practice in communicating, managing feelings, and trying small tasks independently.

Connecting home and classroom

Offer two simple choices, name feelings, and celebrate effort. Share the words and routines your child uses at home so the classroom feels more familiar.

Let's talk during your tour

Ask about classroom transitions, support for emerging language, and readiness for new self-help routines.

What learning can look like

Build, sort, and solve

Stack blocks, match familiar objects, and try simple puzzles. Children explore size, shape, balance, and what happens when they try another way.

Words for everyday life

Use songs, picture books, and conversation to name actions, objects, and feelings. Offer simple choices and allow time for a response.

First friendships

Practice playing alongside others, asking for help, and taking short turns. Adults can name feelings and model gentle ways to interact.

Growing independence

Encourage small, achievable tasks such as putting a toy away or helping with a routine. Drawing and movement activities build coordination along the way.

One activity. Many growing skills.

When a tower falls, an adult can describe what happened and invite another attempt. The toddler practices problem-solving, persistence, hand control, and coping with disappointment.
